Description:
The Mobile Application Developer is responsible for the specifications and development of
cutting-edge mobile applications specifically for the healthcare sector. In this role you will work
as a key member of the development team to deliver easy to use mobile applications for the various
healthcare products/services offered under DialHealth. These mobile applications will target
multiple platforms including iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android and HTML5. The right candidate will
have deep skills and prior experience in one or more of these platforms, strong passion for
focusing on usability during application development, a strong understanding of the software
development life cycle, strong communication skills, and the desire and ability to contribute as a
leader on the development team.
Position Duties:
Specification, development, and debugging of mobile applications
Creation of reusable libraries and mobile application frameworks.
Evaluate and research latest technologies.
Advise management with regards to pros and cons of implementation of specific mobile platforms
Must be aware of hosting web based applications on the cloud and integrate with back-end engines
Candidate Requirements:
Familiar with Agile software development methodologies (preferred)
Successful candidates will have 3+ years of relevant mobile application development experience in
a professional environment along with 5+ years of overall development experience
Experience with creating and consuming Web Services (RESTful web services)
Familiarity with workflow and database driven applications
Awareness of security issues related to mobile application development.
Expertise in building mobile friendly web sites and web applications is a plus
Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision
